What is Tooth Whitening?
Best Tooth whitening can be a very effective way of lightening your tooth without removing any of the tooth surface. It cannot make a complete colour change, but it may lighten the existing shade.
Why would I need my teeth whitened?
Everyone is different; and just as our hair and skin colour vary, so do our teeth. Very few people have brilliant-white teeth, and our teeth can also become more discoloured as we get older.
Your teeth can also be stained on the surface by food and drinks such as tea, coffee. Smoking can also stain teeth.
‘Build-up of tartar can also affect the colour of your teeth. Some people may have staining under the surface, which can be caused by certain antibiotics or by tiny cracks in the teeth which take up stains.
There are multiple ways that you can whiten your teeth.
Brush Brush Brush – Brush twice a day for At least TWO MINUTES, fundamentally keeping your teeth clean is proven to be the best strategic habit that will present discoloration.
Home Whitening – At-home teeth whitening is a good, conservative option for many people. It’s cost-effective and generally has low or no tooth sensitivity. A number of products are available in the market from whitening toothpaste, to gels and even whitening strips, all will help achieve the result, there is no perfect strategy but they are all known to help work but this is a slow process.
Oil Pulling – We all know that coconut oil is a miracle worker for our hair, but it turns out it can do your teeth some good, too. The Ayurvedic tradition of oil pulling can help dissolve toxins, bacteria, and plaque inside the mouth, which can result in a brighter smile in addition to improved overall oral health. Swish for 15 to 20 minutes daily (you can start at five and work your way up), and you’ll begin to see results in as soon as a week.
Laser Whitening – In-Office teeth whitening is the best way to immediately achieve multiple shared light set of teeth. We at Alvi Dental specialize in teeth whitening and have done thousands of patients with repeatedly proven results of multiple shared lighter teeth.
