Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth unfortunately won’t make you any smarter than you already are. They are called Wisdom teeth because they usually come in when you’re a bit older, around ages 17 to 21.
These teeth are in the very back of your mouth. You get two on top and two on the bottom as part of a complete set of 32 adult teeth.
These teeth serve no obvious purpose and often cause us problems, they become infected, cause chronic pain, become impacted or crowd the other teeth, and push them out of their proper alignment – And still, it is said that about 95 percent of the population has wisdom teeth.
An estimated 90 percent develops at least one impacted wisdom tooth, according to the Alvi Dental Hospital. That typically means an immediate visit to an oral surgeon who has been trained and is qualified to remove the third molars in order to restore basic function to the teeth and jaws.
